He gets attacked by a lot of Neo-pagans because they don't like the idea that he doesn't agree with using magic(k). I personally find magic(k) not worth my time. It takes me away from the worship of my gods.

After reading all the Percy Jackson books by Rick Riordan, my 11-year old daughter, wanted to read more about Greek mythology. She wasn´t disappointed by this book! She really loved reading it and even did an independent novel project on it.

Not bad! As I've said before, he has some good ideas, even if I find his general character questionable, at best.
